Computer Case Part DimasTech PD020 Silver — PD020 Replacement Component

DimasTech PD020 silver is a replacement computer case part supplied as a single unit for systems that require the PD020 component. Made of metal and plastic elements, this part is intended for assembly, repair or upgrade of compatible PC enclosures and restores front-panel functionality where the original element is damaged or missing. The item includes a momentary push-button with a 19 mm diameter and an integrated power LED ring with green illumination, designed to operate on 12V AC/DC. The component combines mechanical contacts and an illuminated ring to provide both tactile control and visual power indication.

Advantages

This replacement part provides a direct fit for enclosures designed for the PD020 component and allows restoration of push-button control and power indication without replacing the entire front panel. The integrated LED ring offers clear visual feedback with a long rated lifetime, while the momentary-action switch design supports standard power-button behavior. The mix of metal and plastic construction balances durability and ease of installation.

Suitable for

• Repairing a damaged or non-functional front-panel power button on compatible PC cases
• Upgrading a case front panel to add an illuminated power indicator
• Custom PC builds that require a 19 mm momentary push-button with LED ring

How to use

Disconnect power to the PC before attempting installation. Remove the case front or access panel as required to reach the original PD020 location. Remove the defective component by disconnecting its cables and fasteners, then insert the replacement into the same cutout and secure it using the original mounting method. Reconnect the NO/NC signal wires according to the case wiring diagram and connect the LED ring to a 12V AC/DC source using the appropriate polarity and wiring. After installation, restore power and verify the push-button operation and LED illumination.

Recommendations

Use insulating tools when handling electrical connections, route LED power wiring away from moving parts, and verify 12V supply compatibility before connecting. If uncertain about wiring or compatibility, consult the case documentation or a qualified technician to avoid damage to the case electronics.
