eSTUFF GLBE14318182 privacy filter for displays

Edge-to-edge privacy filters are designed for frameless laptops with all-glass displays and include a precise cutout for the webcam and sensors. They limit the screen view from side angles to protect login credentials and other confidential information whether you are traveling or working in the office. The filter also shields the display glass from scratches and everyday wear while maintaining smooth touch interaction.

Advantages

The privacy filter provides clear, sharp image clarity for the person directly in front of the screen while preventing side viewers from seeing display content. It reduces blue light transmission by approximately 51% (±5%), helping to decrease exposure to blue wavelengths. The filter is tailored for frameless laptop displays and includes an opening for webcam and sensors, offering integrated privacy without interfering with device functionality.

Key specifications

• Designed for frameless laptop displays (edge-to-edge glass)
• Precise cutout for webcam and sensors
• Reduces blue light transmission by 51% (±5%) for wavelengths around 440–460 nm
• Protects screen glass from scratches and daily wear

How to use

Clean the laptop screen according to the manufacturer’s recommendations before applying the privacy filter. Align the filter so the webcam and sensor cutouts match the device openings, then attach the filter following the included mounting method (adhesive or slide-on, depending on the model). To maintain optimal clarity, periodically remove dust and fingerprints from the filter with a soft microfiber cloth and approved screen cleaner.

Recommendations

Use the privacy filter on laptops with true edge-to-edge glass displays; verify the webcam and sensor positions before purchase to ensure the cutout aligns correctly. For touchscreen models, ensure the chosen filter supports smooth touch operation. Follow cleaning instructions to avoid damaging the filter surface.
