Fibre optic cable EFB Elektronik O7353.1 1 m SC ST turquoise

The EFB Elektronik O7353.1 is a 1 m fibre optic patch cord with OM3 multimode fibre and SC to ST connectors. The cable has a 50 µm core diameter and a turquoise jacket for easy identification. It is a factory-tested fibre jumper designed to provide the shortest link between passive interfaces and active device ports in structured cabling installations conforming to ISO/IEC 11801.

Advantages

The cable uses aramid yarn reinforcement for improved tensile strength and long-term stability. The jacket is LSZH (halogen-free, flame-retardant) and meets IEC-60754-2, IEC-60332-1 and IEC-61034 requirements. Connectors are manufactured to comply with IEC-61753 quality grades B/2 for singlemode and A/1 for multimode (as referenced) and each unit is 100% tested and supplied with an individual test report.

Suitable for

• Data centre multimode links and patch panels
• High-speed LAN connections using OM3 fibre
• Short-range fibre runs between active equipment and passive interfaces
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

How to use

Install the fibre patch cord by inserting the SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or port and the ST connector into the ST port or adapter. Handle the fibre by the connectors and avoid sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius during routing. Secure the cable in cable management systems to prevent strain on the connectors and to preserve the aramid reinforcement and long-term performance.

Recommendations

For reliable multimode performance, keep endfaces clean and inspect connectors before mating. Use appropriate dust caps when the cable is not in use and follow site-specific fibre handling and safety procedures. Choose OM3 fibre patch cords like this model for short- to medium-range high-speed links in data centres and enterprise networks.
