How to use

Power off the laptop and remove the battery (if removable) before beginning any repair. Disassemble the device according to the service manual for the specific Lenovo model, taking care to mark or store screws and small fasteners in order. Remove the damaged cover and compare the new component to ensure matching screw locations and cutouts. Fit the replacement cover in place, reattach internal components and fasteners following the reverse order of disassembly, and verify that ports and vents align correctly. Reinstall the battery and power on the device to confirm normal operation and that no cables were pinched during reassembly.

Recommendations

Handle the cover by its edges to avoid fingerprints or surface scuffs. Use anti-static precautions when working near internal electronics. If unsure about the correct disassembly sequence for your Lenovo model, consult the official service documentation or a qualified technician to avoid damaging connectors or internal components.
