Maximum 1685 satellite antenna accessory

The Maximum 1685 satellite antenna accessory is constructed from durable aluminium and engineered for outdoor use. With compact dimensions of 260 mm width, 150 mm depth and 330 mm height, this accessory complements satellite dishes and mounting hardware to improve alignment stability and withstand exposure to weather. Its lightweight design facilitates handling during installation while maintaining structural rigidity for reliable long-term performance.

Advantages

Aluminium construction provides corrosion resistance and a high strength-to-weight ratio, reducing the risk of deformation in wind or temperature changes. The compact footprint allows installation in constrained mounting zones and contributes minimal additional load to existing supports. Its dimensional proportions are selected to balance wind resistance and signal-related placement requirements.

Suitable for

• Home and small commercial satellite dish installations
• Outdoor mounting where corrosion resistance is required
• Upgrades or replacements of satellite antenna components
• Situations requiring a compact, lightweight accessory for alignment and support

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium for outdoor durability
• Width: 260 mm
• Depth: 150 mm
• Height: 330 mm
• Design: lightweight yet rigid construction for easy installation

How to use

Mount the accessory to the satellite support structure following the satellite dish manufacturer’s mounting points and torque recommendations. Position the accessory so that the dimensions align with the required clearance and signal line-of-sight; ensure all fasteners are tightened securely and protected against moisture. After installation, perform an alignment and signal-strength check using a satellite finder or receiver, and make small adjustments as needed to optimise reception.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect mounting points and fasteners for corrosion or loosening, particularly after severe weather. Clean the aluminium surface with mild detergent and water if necessary, and avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage protective finishes. When replacing or upgrading components, verify compatibility with existing dish and mast dimensions to maintain safe load limits.
