Metabo 600955000 Portable Circular Saw

The Metabo 600955000 portable circular saw is a compact power saw designed for accurate wood cutting. It has a 16 cm blade diameter and delivers up to 5600 RPM no-load speed. The saw provides a maximum cutting depth of 55 mm at 90° and combines a lightweight design (approx. 4 kg) with a durable die-cast aluminium base plate for stable operation. With 1200 W input power and 670 W output power, the tool is suitable for professional and DIY applications where precise, straight cuts are required.

Advantages

The saw can be mounted directly on guide rails from Metabo and compatible manufacturers to achieve precise long cuts. A light guide plate made from die-cast aluminium and a non-slip soft-grip area improve handling and control. A clearly visible cutting indicator supports accurate sawing after the initial cut, and the 0° position is re-adjustable to maintain high cutting precision. Dust extraction is possible via connection to a general-purpose vacuum cleaner, and the machine can be adjusted for use with a precision guide rail without tools.

Suitable for

• Straight and long cuts in wood
• On-site joinery and carpentry work
• Use with guide rails for panel cutting
• Professional and DIY renovation tasks

Key specifications

How to use

Fit the appropriate 160 mm saw blade and secure the tool according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Adjust the cutting depth and angle (0° re-adjustable) for the required cut, and if precise long cuts are needed, mount the saw on a compatible guide rail. Connect a vacuum cleaner to the dust extraction port if dust removal is required. Hold the saw with the soft-grip area and move it steadily along the workpiece while keeping the cutting indicator aligned for accurate results.

Recommendations

For best results, use a sharp, application-specific blade and a compatible guide rail to ensure straight, splinter-free cuts. Regularly check blade tightness and the saw’s alignment; perform cuts at the recommended speed and do not exceed the specified cutting depth.
