QNAP FAN-7CM-R01 computer cooling system computer case Black

QNAP FAN-7CM-R01 is a compact 70 × 70 × 25 mm axial cooling fan designed for computer cases and NAS enclosures. It operates at 12 V and is finished in black to match common internal hardware aesthetics.

Advantages

The fan offers a small footprint suitable for tight spaces while providing forced airflow to dissipate heat from components. Its 4-pin connector allows for PWM control when supported by the system, enabling variable speed operation for better thermal management and reduced noise compared with fixed-speed fans.

Suitable for

• Cooling small form-factor computer cases
• Replacing or upgrading fans in NAS enclosures
• Ventilation in network equipment and compact electronics

Key specifications

• Type: axial case fan
• Dimensions: 70 × 70 × 25 mm
• Rated voltage: 12 V
• Connector: 4-pin (supports PWM control)
• Colour: black

How to use

Install the fan into the case or enclosure using the appropriate mounting points and screws aligned with the airflow direction needed for intake or exhaust. Connect the 4-pin plug to a compatible motherboard, fan controller, or NAS fan header rated for 12 V and PWM control if variable speed is desired. Ensure cables are routed to avoid obstructing other components or moving parts.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, match the fan orientation to the system’s airflow scheme and confirm the host supports 4-pin PWM control to take advantage of variable speed. Periodically clean the fan blades and grille to maintain airflow and cooling efficiency.
