Smeg 50's Style MFF11WHEU automatic, white

The Automatic Smeg 50's Style MFF11WHEU White is an electric milk frother designed to deliver consistent froth and gently heated milk in a compact, retro-styled body. Equipped with a durable stainless steel carafe and a 500 W motor, the unit supports both hot and cold frothing and uses an induction heating system to reach ideal serving temperatures. Its small footprint (184 mm wide, 142 mm deep, 251 mm high) and 1.78 kg weight make it suitable for countertops where space is limited while maintaining a distinctive 1950s Smeg aesthetic.

Advantages

The frother provides versatile milk preparation options: heating with or without froth, and cold frothing for chilled drinks. The stainless steel carafe resists stains and is dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning. With a 500 W power rating and compatibility with 50–60 Hz AC input, the appliance heats efficiently and integrates with common household electrical standards. The white finish offers a neutral look that blends with a variety of kitchen styles.

How to use

Fill the stainless steel carafe up to the indicated level for heating or frothing depending on the desired result. Select the appropriate program for hot froth, hot milk without froth, or cold froth, then start the cycle. The induction heating system brings milk to temperature while the whisk or frothing accessory creates the desired texture. After use, allow the carafe to cool and remove it for cleaning; the carafe is dishwasher-safe for easy maintenance. Always follow safety guidelines in the user manual regarding liquid levels and cleaning procedures.

Recommendations

For best results use fresh, cold milk and avoid overfilling—observe the maximum capacities for heating and whipping. Whole milk produces creamier, more stable foam while low-fat and plant-based milks may yield lighter froth; adjust portions and program selection accordingly. Clean the carafe promptly after each use to prevent residue build-up and ensure consistent performance.
