Wera 05008871001 Screwdriver Set

Manual screwdriver set Wera 05008871001 contains five especially small straight screwdrivers with short blades designed for use in hard-to-reach areas. The set combines Wera Bit technology blades with a hexagon anti-roll feature, and the 2-component Kraftform handles provide a firm grip for precise work. Blades receive a special surface treatment for increased corrosion protection and an optimized fit in the screw head.

Advantages

The 2-component Kraftform handle integrates hard and soft zones to ensure comfortable, non-slip handling and accurate torque transfer. Short blades and compact overall dimensions improve access in confined spaces. Wera Bit technology and surface treatment deliver reliable fit, reduced wear and higher corrosion resistance. Hexagon anti-roll protection prevents bits from rolling away on the workbench.

Suitable for

• Precision assembly and maintenance in tight or recessed locations
• Electronics, small appliances and instrument work requiring Pozidriv and slotted tips
• Professional workshops and DIY tool kits

How to use

Select the screwdriver with the correct tip type and size (Pozidriv or slotted) for the screw head. Hold the Kraftform handle firmly by its ergonomic grip zones and place the short blade into the screw head ensuring full contact. Apply steady axial pressure while turning to avoid cam-out; use appropriate torque for the fastener and workpiece. After use, store the set in its original packaging or a tool organiser to protect the blades and maintain the surface treatment.

Recommendations

Use the short-blade screwdrivers for confined or recessed screw positions where standard-length screwdrivers cannot reach. Avoid applying excessive lateral force to prevent blade deformation and preserve the optimized fit of the Wera Bit technology tips.
