Wiha 41589 Screwdriver Bit Set

The Wiha 41589 screwdriver bit set contains five high-quality Pozidriv (PZ 2) bits, each 25 mm long with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) hexagonal shank. Designed and made in Germany, these bits are intended for precise fastening tasks and compatibility with a wide range of manual and powered drivers. Wiha’s bit concept simplifies selection by focusing on screw head shape: the correct bit is chosen by matching the screw profile rather than the tool or fastening method.

Advantages

The bits feature a patented torsion zone that makes them suitable for use with power tools and impact screwdrivers while providing a significantly longer service life compared to standard bits. A fluorescent coating and blue marking make the bits easier to locate, even in low-light conditions using UV light, reducing replacement frequency and lowering overall costs.

How to use

Select the Pozidriv PZ 2 bit and insert the 1/4" hex shank into a compatible screwdriver handle, bit holder or power driver. Match the bit tip to the corresponding PZ 2 screw head profile, apply steady pressure, and drive the screw at an appropriate speed for the material and fastener. When using impact drivers, the torsion zone helps absorb torque peaks—observe manufacturer recommendations for torque settings and wear checks.

Recommendations

Store bits in a dry place and keep them marked to aid quick identification. Inspect bits regularly for wear or damage and replace if the tip shows rounding or deformation to avoid fastener damage. Use UV light to locate fluorescent-coated bits in low-light conditions.
