ABUS PPIC31020 IP Surveillance Camera

The ABUS PPIC31020 is an indoor IP security camera that captures Full HD images at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Designed for ceiling or wall mounting, it offers both wired and wireless network connectivity and a compact black plastic housing that fits a variety of indoor environments. The camera uses a CMOS image sensor and automatic white balance to produce clear daytime footage while its wide optical coverage reduces the number of cameras required to monitor a single area.

Advantages

The camera provides Full HD resolution for detailed video, together with a broad 180° horizontal and 100° vertical viewing angle to cover large indoor spaces. Flexible installation options—ceiling or wall—and support for wired and wireless connections allow integration into existing networks. Its lightweight plastic housing and unobtrusive black finish simplify placement in offices, retail spaces, and residential interiors. The combination of CMOS sensor technology and auto white balance enhances image clarity under typical indoor lighting conditions.

Suitable for

• Monitoring retail shops and small retail areas
• Surveillance of offices, corridors and reception areas
• Indoor monitoring in homes and apartment common areas
• Security coverage for classrooms, small warehouses and storage rooms

Recommendations

For reliable performance, place the camera at a height that minimizes obstructions and avoids direct, strong backlighting. Use wired connection for constant uptime where possible, and verify wireless signal strength before finalizing placement. Regularly check firmware updates and maintain clean lens surfaces to ensure consistent image quality.
