• Finish: factory-matched surface texture and color to preserve original appearance
• Mounting: pre-cut hinge and screw locations for direct fitment without modification

How to use

Power down the laptop and disconnect all cables and the battery if accessible. Remove the bottom cover and unscrew the hinge mounts and bezel components as required to access the damaged display cover. Detach hinges, display cables, and any attached components carefully, then remove the old cover. Align the replacement cover with the hinge mounts and screw locations, reattach hinges and cables, and fasten screws to the specified torque where applicable. Reassemble bezel and bottom cover, reconnect the battery and cables, and verify display alignment and lid movement.

Recommendations

Handle the replacement cover and internal display components on a soft, static-free surface and use appropriate screwdrivers and ESD precautions. Verify model compatibility before installation and inspect hinge hardware for wear—replace hinges if necessary to avoid uneven stress on the new cover.
