ACT CAT6A Keystone Jack Unshielded LSA Socket White

The ACT CAT6A Keystone Jack is an unshielded, punch-down RJ45 connector designed for structured network installations. Finished in white, the jack fits standard keystone wall plates and patch panels to provide a discreet, stable termination point for Cat6A cabling. It accepts IDC terminations for secure conductor connections and is intended to support high-speed data transmission in residential and commercial network environments.

Advantages

This unshielded CAT6A keystone jack offers a compact design that integrates with common wall plates and panels. Its punch-down IDC termination simplifies installation without special tools beyond a standard punch-down tool. The RJ45 interface ensures compatibility with typical patch cords and devices, while the robust housing provides physical protection and consistent contact alignment for reliable performance over time.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in homes and offices
• Patch panels and wall plate terminations
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to Cat6A performance levels
• Retrofit or new network installations where a discreet white finish is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6A unshielded keystone jack
• Connector type: RJ45 outlet with IDC punch-down termination
• Termination method: 110/IDC punch-down compatible
• Colour: White
• Mounting format: Keystone snap-in
• Application: Data cabling for Ethernet networks

How to use

Terminate the Cat6A cable by aligning conductors to the colour-coded IDC slots and use a punch-down tool to seat each conductor firmly. Once terminated, snap the keystone jack into a compatible wall plate or patch panel opening. Connect standard RJ45 patch cords to the front socket to link devices or network equipment. Verify continuity and performance using a cable tester that supports Cat6A parameters before finalising the installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use properly rated Cat6A cable and maintain correct pair untwist lengths during termination. Avoid excessive cable bending and keep separation from strong electrical interference sources. Use a suitable punch-down tool and test each link after installation to ensure compliance with expected data rates.
