Adapter DisplayPort 1.2 plug to HDMI socket 4K active DeLOCK 63585

This adapter by Delock enables connection of an HDMI monitor to a system via a free DisplayPort interface. It performs active conversion and is therefore suitable for graphics cards that cannot output DP++ signals. The adapter supports up to 4K Ultra HD resolution at 30 Hz and is backward compatible with Full HD 1080p. The cable is 0.2 m long and the product is black.

Advantages

Active DisplayPort-to-HDMI conversion allows use with graphics cards lacking DP++ support. Supports high-resolution output up to 4K Ultra HD (30 Hz) while remaining compatible with 1080p displays. Compact 0.2 m cable provides a tidy connection and the adapter uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI connectors for wide compatibility.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI monitor or TV to a DisplayPort output
• Setups where the source does not provide DP++ signalling
• Office displays, multimedia playback and presentations requiring up to 4K (30 Hz)

How to use

Power on both devices and select the correct input on the display. The active adapter handles the signal conversion automatically; no additional drivers are required.

Recommendations

For optimal picture quality at the specified maximum resolution, use a high-quality HDMI cable and ensure the display supports the target resolution and refresh rate. If the graphics card supports DP++ and you require higher refresh rates at 4K, consider a native DP-to-HDMI solution that explicitly supports those modes.
