Akasa AK-CBHD09-25BK HDMI Cable

The Akasa AK-CBHD09-25BK is a short HDMI adapter cable designed to connect devices with a Micro HDMI (Type D) output to equipment with a Standard HDMI (Type A) input. At 0.25 m length, the cable provides a compact connection for cameras, tablets or small media devices where space is limited. Gold-plated contacts and support for data transfer rates up to 10.2 Gbit/s ensure reliable digital signal transmission for video and audio over a single cable.

Advantages

This cable combines a Micro HDMI Type D male connector with a Standard HDMI Type A female connector in a compact 0.25 m form factor, which reduces cable clutter and is convenient for use in tight setups. Gold-plated contacts help reduce corrosion and maintain consistent contact quality. The rated data transfer capability of 10.2 Gbit/s supports common high-definition video and multichannel audio requirements over HDMI. The black finish matches most AV equipment and keeps a low visual profile.

Suitable for

• Connecting cameras, action cams or tablets with Micro HDMI output to monitors, TVs or capture devices with Standard HDMI input
• Short-distance connections in tight or portable setups where a long cable would be impractical
• Use with media players, small form-factor PCs or embedded devices that expose a Micro HDMI port

Key specifications

• Connector 1: HDMI Type D (Micro), male
• Connector 2: HDMI Type A (Standard), female
• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Data transfer rate: up to 10.2 Gbit/s
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert the Micro HDMI (Type D) male connector into the Micro HDMI output on your source device until it seats securely. Connect the Standard HDMI (Type A) female end to a Standard HDMI male plug on a short HDMI lead or directly to an HDMI-equipped display or capture device using an appropriate HDMI plug. Ensure connectors are aligned and avoid forcing them; the short cable is intended for close-proximity connections. Power on connected devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display or capture device to begin signal transmission.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, direct connections only; avoid using it as a repetitive bend point and keep connectors free from dust. For stable performance, confirm that connected devices support the intended video resolution and audio formats within the cable's transfer rate. Store the cable flat or gently coiled to prevent strain on the connectors.
