Why choose it

The Tracking Option Alignment feature ensures precise optical path optimization, reducing signal degradation and improving network reliability. It is designed for high-capacity optical networks, offering scalability and robust integration with existing OSS/BSS environments. With support for redundant configurations and enterprise databases, it delivers carrier-grade availability and performance.

Ideal use cases

• Telecommunication service providers managing large DWDM/OTN backbones
• Large enterprises with private optical networks
• Data centers requiring high-capacity optical interconnect management
• Network operations centers (NOCs) needing centralized FCAPS management

Good to know

The Alcatel 8770 system is vendor-agnostic in terms of northbound integration, supporting standard protocols like CORBA and TL1. It runs on Linux servers and requires an Oracle database for full functionality. This product is a software license/option and does not include hardware.
