How to use

Install the OmniSwitch 6360 in a standard 19-inch rack using the included mounting brackets. Connect network devices to the appropriate RJ-45 ports and, if needed, enable PoE per-port settings through the web GUI or CLI. Configure VLANs, routing and security policies using the AOS CLI or the in-box web interface. Monitor status and performance via the management interfaces and apply firmware updates as provided by the vendor.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, deploy the switch in a temperature-controlled network room, ensure proper rack ventilation, and use a UPS to protect against power interruptions. Check PoE power budget against connected devices’ requirements before large-scale PoE deployments.
