Alphacool 17298 Computer Cooling System Component

The Alphacool 17298 cooling system part is a compact brass component designed to improve heat dissipation in custom PC liquid-cooling loops. With a small footprint of 41.5 mm x 41.5 mm and a robust brass construction finished in black, this part is intended for integration into cooling assemblies where reliable thermal transfer and long-term durability are required. Its modest weight and compact dimensions make it suitable for tight mounting spaces inside modern computer cases.

Advantages

Constructed from brass for solid thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, the component offers consistent performance over extended use. The compact 41.5 x 41.5 mm size allows flexible placement in constrained systems, while the black finish provides a neutral aesthetic that blends with a wide range of builds. Low mass contributes to easy handling and installation without imposing additional mechanical load on fittings or brackets.

Suitable for

• Custom PC water-cooling loops where compact brass components are needed
• Small-form-factor builds with limited internal space
• Replacement or upgrade of existing cooling assemblies requiring durable parts

Key specifications

• Material: Brass
• Finish: Black
• Dimensions: 41.5 mm x 41.5 mm
• Weight: 0.1 kg
• Category: Computer cooling components

How to use

Install the Alphacool brass cooling part into the liquid-cooling loop according to the system design and manufacturer guidelines for fittings and tubing. Ensure mating surfaces and threads are clean and free of debris before assembly. Use appropriate sealing methods and compatible coolant to avoid galvanic corrosion and maintain flow rates specified by the loop design. After installation, perform a leak test and monitor temperatures under initial operation to confirm correct integration.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, use compatible, high-quality coolants and maintain regular loop maintenance intervals. When integrating into mixed-metal loops, consider corrosion inhibitors to protect brass surfaces; avoid aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the finish.
