Alphacool 17399 Fitting

The Alphacool 17399 double nipple is a high-end brass compression fitting designed for liquid cooling systems. With a 1/4" outer thread on each side, a depth of 15 mm and a diameter of 1.8 cm, it provides a reliable connection between two ports with 1/4" inner threads. The fitting is finished in deep matte black and includes coloured O-rings (three colours supplied) with an optional UV-reactive variant for visual customization. The outer coating is applied with a special process to resist chipping and maintain colour longevity.

Advantages

The Alphacool Eiszapfen series combines high flow performance, precise machining and durable surface treatment. The matte black finish is firmly bonded to prevent peeling, and each connector carries the Alphacool logo and distinctive shape for easy identification. Multiple O-ring colours and a UV-light option allow visual customization without compromising sealing performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting two components or ports with 1/4" inner threads
• Internal tubing runs in PC liquid cooling loops
• Systems requiring a compact brass double nipple with secure compression sealing

How to use

Thread the double nipple into two corresponding ports with 1/4" inner threads, ensuring threads are aligned and hand-tightened before final seating. Install the provided O-rings in the compression areas as required to achieve a watertight seal. After initial positioning, tighten to manufacturer-recommended torque or until secure; avoid excessive force to prevent thread damage. Verify the connection for leaks after filling and pressurizing the loop.

Recommendations

Use compatible 1/4" threaded components and inspect O-rings before installation. Replace O-rings if damaged and use the UV-reactive O-rings only with appropriate UV lighting. Do not overtighten; brass threads provide secure sealing but can be damaged by excessive torque.
