Alphacool 18510 Tube

The Alphacool 18510 Tube is a set of four transparent satin (frosted) Plexi (PMMA) hard tubes, each with an outer diameter of 13 mm, inner diameter of 10 mm and a length of 80 cm. Designed for liquid cooling systems in custom PC builds, these Eisrohr tubes offer an ice-like surface finish that diffuses light and creates a frosted appearance in the coolant while maintaining reliable fluid flow and durability.

Advantages

The satin surface provides a frosted, ice-like look that softens and diffuses LED illumination instead of producing sharp reflections. Made from transparent acrylic (PMMA), the tubes combine visual distinctiveness with the mechanical properties suitable for hard tubing installations. Sold as a set of four tubes, the package simplifies planning and installation for multi-loop or longer runs.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops using 13/10 mm hard tubing
• Builds where diffused or softer internal lighting is desired
• Systems requiring durable acrylic (PMMA) tubing for coolant transport

How to use

Cut the tubes to the required lengths using a suitable hard tube cutter or mitering tool, then deburr and polish the ends if necessary. Install the tubes with compatible 13/10 mm compression fittings or adapters for your water-cooling components, ensuring secure seals and correct alignment to avoid stress on fittings. Fill and bleed the loop according to your normal cooling system procedure and check for leaks before finalising the build.

Recommendations

Use fittings rated for 13/10 mm Plexi hard tubing and avoid excessive bending or mechanical stress. When using coloured or UV-reactive coolant and internal LEDs, expect a diffused lighting effect rather than distinct LED reflections. Clean with products compatible with PMMA and avoid solvents that can craze or damage acrylic.
