AS Schwabe 60370 Extension Cable — 25 m, Black

AS Schwabe 60370 — 25 m, black is a heavy-duty extension cable designed to extend electrical power lines up to 25 meters. The product provides a single long, flexible feed suitable for temporary and semipermanent connections where an extended reach is required. Built for general-purpose use in indoor and outdoor environments, the cable supports everyday electrical devices, power tools and lighting and is intended to offer a practical solution when the fixed supply point is distant from the work area.

Advantages

The 25 m length reduces the need for multiple shorter leads and intermediate connectors, minimising the number of connection points and potential voltage drop. The black sheath offers discreet appearance and UV-resistant properties for outdoor use. The cable construction emphasises flexibility for easier deployment and coiling, while the insulation and outer jacket are designed to provide mechanical protection against typical site wear and weather exposure.

How to use

Unwind the cable fully before use to prevent heat buildup. Connect the cable to a compatible grounded supply socket and plug the appliance into the free end. Position the cable to avoid sharp edges, tripping hazards and points of heavy mechanical stress. If used outdoors, ensure connectors are kept off the ground, sheltered from direct water flow and that the cable is routed to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight where possible. After use, coil the cable neatly and store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and chemicals.

Recommendations

Check that the connected device’s rated current does not exceed the cable’s rated current and avoid daisy-chaining multiple extension cables. Inspect the cable regularly for cuts, abrasions or damage to the outer jacket and discontinue use if any damage is found.
