ATEN UE2120 USB Extension Cable 12m

The ATEN USB Extender Cable UE2120 12m extends the distance between a computer and a USB device up to 12 meters while maintaining USB 2.0 signal integrity and a data rate up to 0.48 Gbit/s. The cable uses USB A connectors on both ends, comes in white, and is intended for applications that require longer USB connections without signal loss.

Advantages

The UE2120 supports USB 2.0 standards and preserves optimal signal integrity over the extended length. It features a lockable mechanical design that secures the male and female cable ends together to prevent accidental disconnection. Multiple extender cables can be chained — up to five units — to increase the total extension distance.

Suitable for

• Connecting peripherals (printers, scanners, webcams) at a greater distance from a host computer
• Temporary or fixed workstation setups where the USB device must be placed away from the PC
• Audio/video or data transfer setups requiring a USB 2.0 connection up to 12 m (or chained up to 60 m)

Key specifications

• Model: ATEN UE2120
• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB version: USB 2.0 (Hi-Speed), up to 0.48 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 12 m
• Colour: White
• Maximum chained length: up to 5 cables (up to 60 m)
• Weight: 0.468 kg

How to use

Connect one end of the UE2120 to the host computer's USB A port and the other end to the USB device. If chaining multiple extender cables, securely link the male and female ends and engage the lockable mechanism to ensure a stable connection. Verify that the connected device is recognised by the host and that data transfer operates at USB 2.0 speeds.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid excessive bending of the cable, ensure secure mechanical locking between chained units, and do not exceed five chained cables (60 m) to maintain signal integrity and reliable USB 2.0 operation.
