Audio Door Intercom GIRA 126766

Fully pre-assembled surface-mounted door station designed for vertical surface-mounted installation in the Gira TX_44 design line. The unit combines an aluminium profile housing with a shatter-proof thermoplastic frame, offering a compact footprint (110 × 19 × 181 mm) and IP44-level protection for outdoor use. Power and signal for audio components are transmitted via a reverse-polarity-protected, short-circuit-proof 2-wire bus, and the unit is supplied for AC/DC operation.

The aluminium-profile housing provides torsional rigidity while the thermoplastic frame delivers UV resistance and a scratch-resistant surface. The door station is ready for quick installation and one-person start-up using a simple commissioning procedure. It includes a weather-resistant speaker, a high-quality electret microphone and full-duplex speakerphone function with echo and background-noise suppression. Call buttons are illuminated with maintenance-free white LEDs and include audible acknowledgement. Theft protection is provided by Torx screws and the name plate on the call button can be exchanged without tools.

How to use

Mount the pre-assembled door station vertically on a suitable flat surface using the surface-mounted housing. Connect the audio and power lines using the 2-wire bus; the wiring is protected against reverse polarity and short circuits. Perform the one-person start-up following the included commissioning procedure to register and configure audio components. Adjust the call-button illumination and voice volume as required.

Recommendations

Install on a clean, level vertical surface and avoid direct exposure to heavy driving rain where possible. Use the Gira inscription service or the Gira inscription software for professional labelling of the name plate. For secure installation, use Torx screws as provided.
