B&W Cases 1000/B/SI Hard Case

The B&W Cases 1000/B/SI is a hard protective case engineered to safeguard cameras and related accessories during transport and storage. Its rigid polypropylene shell in black resists impacts, moisture and dust while providing a lightweight yet robust enclosure. The interior can be customized to fit different camera bodies, lenses and small accessories, allowing secure positioning and organized packing for photographers who need reliable protection on location or in transit.

Advantages

The solid polypropylene construction offers high impact resistance with low weight, reducing transport strain without sacrificing protection. The customizable interior enables tailored cushioning for a variety of camera shapes and accessory configurations. A secure closure system keeps the contents sealed from dust and moisture, and the compact external dimensions make the case convenient for travel, storage and hand-carry situations.

Suitable for

• Transporting a DSLR or mirrorless camera with one or two lenses
• Storing camera bodies and small accessories like batteries, memory cards and filters
• Outdoor shoots where equipment must be protected from impact and dust
• Airline travel as checked or carry-on luggage depending on carrier rules

Key specifications

• Exterior material: durable polypropylene
• Color: black
• Interior: customizable foam inserts for secure placement
• Protection: impact-resistant shell with dust and moisture sealing
• Weight: lightweight construction for easy transport

How to use

Open the case and arrange the removable or pre-scored foam inserts to match the shape of your camera and accessories. Place the camera body and lenses into the cutouts so they sit snugly without pressure on delicate parts. Add smaller items such as batteries and memory cards into remaining cavities or protective pouches, then close the lid and secure the latches. Inspect the seal to ensure it is fully engaged before moving or storing the case.

Recommendations

For optimal protection, use original or high-density foam inserts tailored to your equipment dimensions and avoid overpacking. When travelling by air, verify carrier size and weight restrictions; for long-term storage, keep the case in a dry environment to preserve the foam and sealing performance.
