Bachmann 902.229 Power Extension

The Bachmann 902.229 power extension is a compact indoor power strip with a 0.2 m cable and two Type F AC outlets. Designed with a slim profile and a width of 281.7 mm, it provides convenient access to mains power in tight spaces such as behind furniture, on desks, or in small media cabinets. The unit is intended for indoor use and is suitable for powering common household and office devices where a short, tidy connection to a socket is required.

Advantages

The slim housing and short 0.2 m cable minimize clutter while allowing two devices to be connected simultaneously. The 281.7 mm width ensures outlets are spaced to accept standard plugs without blocking neighbouring sockets. Built for indoor use, the extension offers a practical solution for locations where a full-length extension cable is unnecessary. Construction and finish are focused on functional durability and easy placement in confined areas.

Suitable for

• Powering a modem and router on a desk or shelf
• Connecting a lamp and phone charger beside a bedside table
• Supplying power to a TV and set-top box in a media cabinet
• Providing an extra outlet behind furniture where space is limited

Key specifications

• Number of outlets: 2 Type F AC sockets
• Cable length: 0.2 m
• Intended use: indoor
• Overall width: 281.7 mm

How to use

Plug the Bachmann power extension directly into a compatible wall socket, ensuring the outlet is rated for the combined load of connected devices. Insert appliances into the two Type F sockets and arrange the short cable to sit flat or tucked behind furniture to reduce tripping or strain. Avoid placing the extension in damp or wet locations, and do not cover the unit with textiles or other materials that could restrict heat dissipation.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the maximum current or power rating of the connected wall outlet. Use the extension only indoors, keep it away from moisture and heat sources, and inspect the cable and housing regularly for signs of damage. For devices with high power draw, connect directly to a dedicated wall outlet or verify the combined load remains within safe limits.
