Bachmann 930.016 Cable Accessory, Polypropylene Black, Width 45 mm

Bachmann 930.016 is a cable accessory composed of polypropylene (PP) in black with a width of 45 mm. The product is part of a Quadro system that comprises 23 quadratic chain links with nominal dimensions of approximately 45 x 45 mm (W x H), a metal base plate in matching colour and a desk attachment in matching colour. The complete assembly has an overall length of approximately 76 cm including base plate and desk attachment. The Quadro design is mechanically stable and suitable for ceiling-based installations at room heights up to about 5 metres.

Advantages

The polypropylene construction delivers a lightweight and durable solution for cable routing and organization while resisting typical wear in indoor installations. The 2-chamber system separates data and power cables to reduce interference and maintain orderly cable runs. Quadratic chain links and a metal base plate provide structural stability for straight vertical or ceiling-mounted deployments. The compact 45 mm width enables use in constrained spaces such as furniture or electrical cabinets.

Suitable for

• Organising and guiding cables in office furniture and workstations
• Cable routing in electrical cabinets and server racks
• Ceiling-based cable installations in rooms up to approximately 5 metres high
• Separating data and power conductors within a single route
• Domestic and professional installations requiring compact cable management

Key specifications

• Material: polypropylene (PP)
• Colour: black
• Width: 45 mm
• Chain link geometry: quadratic links, approx. 45 x 45 mm (W x H)
• Number of chain links: 23
• System type: Quadro chain with 2-chamber separation
• Includes: metal base plate and desk attachment in matching colour
• Total length including base plate and desk attachment: approx. 76 cm
• Suitable installation height (ceiling-based): up to approx. 5 m

How to use

Mount the metal base plate to the ceiling or other secure surface following applicable installation rules and fasteners for the substrate. Attach the Quadro chain links to the base plate and route cables within the two separate chambers so that data and power conductors remain separated. Secure the lower end with the supplied desk attachment or another suitable anchor point. Ensure cable routing avoids sharp bends and maintains minimum bend radii for the specific cable types used.

Recommendations

Verify mechanical load and ceiling fixing specifications before installation; for ceiling heights approaching the 5 m limit, confirm stability and fastening strength. Keep data and power cables segregated in their respective chambers and avoid overfilling each chamber to maintain proper cooling and reduce electromagnetic interference.
