Bachmann STEP BASE Power Strip 5x CEE7/7 with Switch, Model BM0019533

The Bachmann STEP BASE 5x CEE7/7 power strip with switch (model BM0019533) provides five grounded Schuko sockets in a compact, low-profile housing. It is designed to expand available mains outlets in home and office environments, enabling simultaneous connection of computers, monitors, chargers and other low- to medium-power devices. The integrated on/off switch offers a single point of control to power multiple devices and helps prevent accidental disconnection by switching the entire strip off when needed.

Advantages

This power strip features five CEE7/7 (Schuko) sockets allowing multiple grounded connections with a compact footprint that fits on or under desks. The built-in rocker switch gives clear visual control of power to all outlets and simplifies powering down several devices at once. Its sturdy housing is intended for everyday use in office and domestic settings, and the arrangement of sockets reduces cable clutter by providing spaced connections for larger plugs and adapters.

Suitable for

• Desktop workstations with PC, monitor and peripherals
• Home office setups and study desks
• Charging multiple mobile devices and accessories
• Audio/video equipment in living rooms or media cabinets
• Temporary power distribution for small appliances and lamps

How to use

Place the power strip on a stable surface or secure it under a desk where the supply cable reaches the mains outlet. Connect the strip to the mains and use the integrated switch to control power to all connected devices. Insert equipment plugs into the Schuko sockets, taking care not to overload the strip by checking the combined power consumption of connected devices. To disconnect power quickly, switch the rocker to the off position and then unplug the strip from the wall if needed for maintenance or extended non-use.

Recommendations

Use the power strip indoors only and avoid exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. Do not exceed the rated load of connected devices; distribute high-power appliances across separate circuits if necessary. Ensure plugs are fully inserted and avoid stacking heavy equipment on the unit. Disconnect the strip during thunderstorms or prolonged absence to reduce risk of surge damage.
