BESSEY KLI40 Clamp Multi-Coloured

The BESSEY KLI40 Multicolour clamp is a compact, heavy-duty clamping tool designed for woodworking and general DIY use. Constructed from metal with a multicolour finish, the clamp measures 504 mm in width, 126 mm in depth, and 102 mm in height, offering a balance of portability and holding capacity. It delivers stable clamping force for assembly, gluing and light fabrication tasks, combining reliable mechanics with a visually distinctive design.

Advantages

The robust metal construction provides durability and resistance to deformation under repeated use. Its compact footprint and moderate dimensions make it suitable for working in limited spaces while still providing consistent clamping pressure. The multicolour finish aids quick visual identification in workshops and on job sites. The design supports precise alignment of components during bonding or fastening operations.

Suitable for

• Woodworking tasks such as gluing, edge joining and assembly
• DIY repairs and home improvement projects
• Hobbyist model and furniture making where controlled clamping is required
• Light fabrication and workshop holding applications

Key specifications

• Overall width: 504 mm
• Depth: 126 mm
• Height: 102 mm
• Material: metal construction for frame and moving parts
• Finish: multicolour coating for improved visibility
• Function: manual clamp delivering stable clamping force for assembly and gluing

How to use

Position the clamp so that the jaws align with the workpieces to be held. Adjust the movable jaw to contact the material surface and apply pressure until the components are securely held without over-tightening. For glue-ups, maintain consistent pressure across the joint and verify alignment before the adhesive sets. Release the clamp by loosening the adjustable mechanism and remove once the assembly is stable or the adhesive has cured.

Recommendations

Use protective pads or scrap wood between clamp jaws and finished surfaces to prevent marring. Apply even pressure and avoid excessive force that could deform thin materials. Store the clamp in a dry environment to minimize corrosion and inspect moving parts periodically for smooth operation.
