BIC fountain pen 8795005 multicolour

The BIC 8795005 Multicolour fountain pen combines a multicolour exterior with an italic nib designed for varied line widths. Supplied as a single piece in blister packaging, the pen is intended for handwriting and creative tasks where smooth ink flow and controlled stroke variation are important. The design supports both right- and left-handed users and aims to provide a comfortable grip for extended writing sessions.

Advantages

The italic nib produces distinct thin and thick strokes that enhance letterforms and calligraphic styles while maintaining reliable ink delivery. Its multicolour design makes the pen easy to identify among other writing tools and adds a visual element useful for projects and presentations. The grip shape is formed to reduce hand fatigue, and the overall build is light enough for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Everyday handwriting and note-taking
• Creative writing and journaling
• Calligraphy practice and lettering projects
• Schoolwork and study notes
• Artistic or design sketches requiring variable line width

Key specifications

• Nib type: italic nib for variable stroke width
• Design: multicolour exterior
• Hand compatibility: suitable for right- and left-handed users
• Packaging: single piece in blister
• Ink flow: smooth delivery suitable for continuous writing
• Grip: ergonomically shaped for comfort

How to use

Unpack the pen from its blister and remove the cap before writing. Hold the pen at a natural angle to allow the italic nib to produce thin upward strokes and broader downward strokes. Apply light, consistent pressure; the italic nib does not require excessive force to achieve clear lines. After use, replace the cap to prevent the nib from drying out and to maintain consistent ink flow.

Recommendations

Use on good-quality, moderately absorbent paper to avoid feathering and ensure crisp line definition; test the nib on scrap paper to get accustomed to the stroke variations before working on final pieces.
