Blaupunkt CR5010 Sabre Saw

The Blaupunkt CR5010 reciprocating saw is a cordless power tool designed for controlled, efficient cutting across a range of materials. It features a powerful motor, a 28 mm stroke length and variable speed control to adapt cutting performance to the task. The tool’s ergonomic shape and lightweight construction support longer use with reduced fatigue, while a compact form factor improves access in confined spaces. The saw is supplied without listed consumable codes and is intended for general cutting applications in renovation, repair and construction.

Advantages

The cordless design removes restrictions from power cords, enabling easier movement around a worksite or home. Variable speed control delivers precise cutting for different materials and blade types, and the 28 mm stroke length balances cutting speed with control. Ergonomic features and reduced weight improve handling and stability during long jobs, while the saw’s build supports quick blade changes and straightforward maintenance.

Suitable for

• Demolition and rough cutting of wood and composite board
• Cutting metal pipes and profiles with the correct blade
• Pruning and cutting of tree roots and garden materials
• On-site repairs where corded access is limited
• Precision trimming in renovation and installation work

Key specifications

• Power type: cordless (battery-operated)
• Stroke length: 28 mm
• Variable speed control for adjustable cutting rate
• Motor: high-torque design for efficient cutting (manufacturer description)
• Ergonomic handle and lightweight construction for improved maneuverability
• Compact body for access in confined spaces

How to use

Fit a blade appropriate for the material and secure it according to the tool’s blade-change mechanism. Set the variable speed control to a lower setting for delicate materials and a higher setting for thicker or harder materials. Position the saw so the shoe rests on the workpiece to stabilize the cut, then start cutting with steady forward pressure without forcing the tool. Allow the saw to reach the selected speed before contacting the material and maintain a consistent motion to achieve a clean cut.

Recommendations

Use blades rated for the material being cut and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and gloves. Ensure battery charge is sufficient for the intended task and allow the tool to cool if overheated during extended heavy use. For cutting metal, select a blade with suitable tooth geometry and feed rate to avoid premature wear.
