Blaupunkt CR7010 Sabre Saw

The Blaupunkt CR7010 reciprocating saw combines a powerful motor and adjustable speed control to handle a variety of cutting tasks. Designed with an ergonomic grip and a quick blade change system, this power saw is engineered for demolition, renovation, and general woodworking where controllable cutting performance and tool reliability are required.

Advantages

The tool offers a robust motor that maintains consistent cutting power across different materials, while the adjustable speed setting provides precise control for delicate or aggressive cuts. Its ergonomic design reduces user fatigue during extended operation, and the quick blade change mechanism allows fast switching between blade types without additional tools. Compact balance and straightforward controls make the saw practical for use in confined spaces and on overhead or vertical cuts.

Suitable for

• Demolition and dismantling of interior structures
• Renovation work including removal of old fixtures and fittings
• Cutting timber, timber with nails, and various construction materials
• Plumbing and electrical installations where flush or plunge cuts are needed
• DIY projects and on-site professional repairs

Key specifications

• Tool type: corded reciprocating saw designed for plunge and straight cuts
• Motor: high-torque motor suitable for continuous cutting tasks
• Speed control: adjustable variable speed for precision and material-specific settings
• Blade change: tool-free quick-change blade system for fast blade swaps
• Ergonomics: cushioned grip and balanced body for reduced vibration transfer
• Application range: suitable for wood, lumber with embedded fasteners, plastics, and certain construction materials

How to use

Choose a blade appropriate for the material and secure it using the quick blade change mechanism. Set the variable speed to a lower setting for precise or delicate cuts and increase speed for faster removal in softer materials. Maintain a firm two-handed grip with the workpiece properly supported or clamped, and allow the motor to reach operating speed before applying firm forward pressure. For plunge cuts, start with a shallow entry and gradually increase depth while maintaining steady motion. Always disconnect from the power supply before changing blades or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves. Match blade type and tooth geometry to the material for optimal cut quality and blade life. Keep vents clear of dust to avoid overheating and inspect the power cord regularly for damage. For overhead or extended-duration tasks, plan regular breaks to reduce strain and check blade tightness periodically.
