Bosch 2 608 606 752 angle grinder accessory cleaning disc

The Bosch 2 608 606 752 cleaning disc is a single-piece accessory designed for metal surface preparation and cleaning. Featuring a flat centre design, this disc is intended to be mounted on compatible angle grinders or cleaning tools to remove rust, scale, paint residues and light surface contaminants from metal parts. The product is supplied individually and is targeted at tradespeople and DIY users who need a compact, tool-mounted solution for metal cleaning tasks.

Advantages

The flat centre geometry provides stable contact with flat and slightly curved metal surfaces, enabling controlled material removal. As a dedicated cleaning disc for metal, it helps restore bare metal and improve adhesion for subsequent coatings. Supplied as a single unit, it is straightforward to replace and store when not in use.

How to use

Fit the cleaning disc to a compatible grinder or rotary cleaning tool according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the disc is mounted securely and the power is disconnected during installation. Operate the tool at recommended speeds for cleaning discs, apply light to moderate pressure, and move the disc steadily across the metal surface to remove contaminants without gouging the base material. Replace the disc when wear reduces effectiveness or causes uneven contact.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection when working with metal cleaning discs. Verify tool compatibility and follow manufacturer guidance for safe operating speed and mounting procedures to avoid imbalance or damage.
