Brennenstuhl 1178760 head torch black

The Brennenstuhl 1178760 headband flashlight is a compact hands-free lighting solution designed for work and outdoor activities. Housed in a black casing with IP44 splash and dust protection, the unit integrates two LED lamps that deliver a combined luminous flux of 100 lumens. The lamp is powered by standard AA batteries and offers up to 10 hours of operation on a single set of cells. With dimensions of approximately 27 mm width, 60 mm depth and 34 mm height, the lamp is lightweight and comfortable to wear on a headband during prolonged tasks.

Advantages

The headband flashlight provides stable hands-free illumination with two LEDs for even light distribution and a compact form factor that minimises obstruction. IP44 protection ensures resistance to splashing water and basic dust ingress for use in workshop and outdoor environments. Battery operation with common AA cells makes replacement and sourcing convenient while the stated run time of up to 10 hours supports extended use without frequent battery changes.

Suitable for

• Workshop and garage tasks where hands-free lighting is needed
• Outdoor activities such as camping, hiking or evening repairs
• Home maintenance, inspections and attic or crawlspace work
• Situations requiring compact, portable illumination on the head

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use fresh or fully charged AA cells and check the battery contacts for corrosion before installation. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion despite the IP44 rating, and store the lamp in a dry place when not in use. For tasks requiring higher brightness or longer run times, consider high-capacity rechargeable AA cells compatible with the lamp.
