Brodit M3 Mobile SL10 Active Holder

The Brodit Active holder for M3 Mobile SL10 is a vehicle-mounted charging and cradling solution for mobile phones and smartphones. It connects to the vehicle cigarette lighter (12/24 V) and charges the device automatically when placed in the holder. The unit is built from black ABS/Acetal plastic, includes a mounting plate with AMPS-style holes (42 x 50 mm) and is made in Sweden. The holder attaches to a tilt-swivel mount for angle adjustment and can be fixed to a Pedestal Mount or ProClip platform.

Advantages

The active holder provides automatic charging via the cigarette-lighter connection and an integrated Molex 6-pin quick connector that allows fast replacement of the holder without redoing the cable installation. Its tilt-and-swivel mechanism (tilt 17°, swivel 360°) enables portrait and landscape positioning and reduces screen glare. The construction uses durable materials suitable for in-vehicle use and the standard mounting plate simplifies installation on common mounting platforms.

How to use

Connect the charging cable to the vehicle cigarette lighter socket (12/24 V) and attach the holder to the chosen mounting platform (Pedestal Mount or ProClip) using the 42 x 50 mm AMPS-style plate. Place the M3 Mobile SL10 into the holder; the device will connect to the charging contact and begin charging automatically. Adjust the tilt (up to 17°) and swivel (up to 360°) to achieve the desired viewing angle and to switch between portrait and landscape orientations.

Recommendations

For fast replacement or maintenance, disconnect the holder from the installed charging cable via the Molex 6-pin quick connector before attaching a new holder. Ensure the cigarette-lighter socket supports 12/24 V and secure the mounting plate firmly to prevent movement during driving.
