Cable Extension Alphacool 18675 Plastic Black 600 mm

The Alphacool 18675 is a 600 mm cable extension for 4-pin PWM fans, finished in black plastic with additional sleeving for protection and improved durability. It extends the reach of fan cables to help with cable routing, case organization and airflow management in custom PC builds.

Advantages

The sleeving adds mechanical protection and increases the lifetime of the cable. A 600 mm length provides greater routing flexibility inside mid-tower and full-tower cases. The black finish blends with typical PC interiors for a discreet appearance while maintaining compatibility with standard 4-pin PWM fan connectors.

Suitable for

• Extending 4-pin PWM fan cables in desktop PCs
• Improving cable routing and airflow in custom builds
• Connecting fans when the original cable is too short for desired placement

Key specifications

• Brand: Alphacool
• Model / MPN: 18675
• EAN: 4250197186759
• Connector type: 4-pin PWM fan connector
• Length: 600 mm
• Material: black plastic with sleeving

How to use

Disconnect the fan or system power before installation. Plug one end of the extension into the fan's 4-pin PWM connector and the other end into the motherboard or fan hub header, ensuring correct pin alignment for PWM control. Arrange the sleeved cable along case routing channels or behind the motherboard tray to minimize airflow obstruction and secure it with cable ties if needed.

Recommendations

For reliable PWM control, keep connectors free of dust and avoid excessive bending near the connector ends. Use the 600 mm length to route the cable along case edges and fasten it to prevent contact with moving parts or hot components.
