Canon 18x50 IS Binoculars, Image Stabilised, Waterproof (4624A014)

The Canon 18x50 IS binoculars deliver high-power 18x magnification with 50 mm objective lenses and Canon precision optics. Equipped with a Porro II prism system and an optical Image Stabilizer, they provide bright, sharp views and reduced image shake in all-weather and marine environments. Powered by two AA batteries and finished in black, these binoculars measure 152 mm (W) x 193 mm (D) x 81 mm (H) and weigh 1.18 kg.

Advantages

Optical Image Stabilizer minimizes handshake for steady viewing at high 18x magnification. The Porro II prism design and 50 mm objective lenses offer good light transmission and clear images even in low-light conditions. Robust construction and weather-resistant design make the binoculars suitable for harsh outdoor and marine use, while compact dimensions and AA battery power simplify field operation.

Suitable for

• Wildlife observation and birdwatching at long distances
• Marine use and boating where image stabilization is needed
• Outdoor surveillance and long-range viewing in varied weather

How to use

Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment following the polarity markings, then switch on the Image Stabilizer before observing. Adjust the interpupillary distance by folding the barrels until a single circular view is achieved. Use the central focusing wheel to bring subjects to sharp focus and the diopter adjustment to fine-tune focus for differences between your eyes. Hold the binoculars steady or use the stabilizer to reduce shake when viewing distant subjects.

Recommendations

For best results in low-light or marine conditions, allow the Image Stabilizer to engage before making final focus, keep batteries fresh for consistent performance, and store the binoculars dry when not in use to maintain optical clarity and mechanical reliability.
