Canon Matte Photo Paper 7981A042

Canon Matte Photo Paper 7981A042 is a premium-quality photographic paper designed for dye and pigment ink printers. This pack contains 5 sheets of heavyweight matte paper that produce vivid colors, fine detail and a smooth, glare-free finish suitable for prints intended for presentation, portfolios or archival projects.

Advantages

The matte surface reduces reflections and improves image legibility under diverse lighting conditions while preserving color saturation and tonal gradation. The paper's coating supports quick ink absorption for sharp edges and minimal feathering, and its weight gives prints a professional feel and dimensional stability. Sheets are compatible with a wide range of Canon printers and common desktop photo printers, providing consistent output from proofing to final presentation.

How to use

Load sheets one at a time or according to your printer's instructions, selecting the appropriate paper type setting (matte photo paper or heavyweight plain paper) and highest print quality for photographic output. Handle sheets by the edges to avoid fingerprints and allow prints to dry completely before stacking or framing. For best results, use original or manufacturer-recommended ink cartridges and perform printer color calibration if accurate color matching is required.

Recommendations

Store unused sheets flat in their protective packaging, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. When printing critical images, run a small test print to verify color and scale settings before printing the full image on the Canon Matte Photo Paper.
