CARRERA Replacement Curve 1/60°, Black

CARRERA track curve 1 / 60° replacement section, black is a single curved track piece designed for compatible CARRERA slot car systems. This black curve provides a 60° bend to extend or repair home or club race layouts, allowing users to build or modify circuits that follow Carrera track geometry. The product is sold as individual 60° sections; multiple pieces can be combined to form larger bends or full straights when paired with other track elements.

Advantages

This replacement curve matches the original Carrera track profile and connector geometry to ensure secure coupling and reliable electrical contact between sections. The black finish maintains a consistent track appearance and resists fading from normal handling. As a modular element, the 60° curve enables flexible layout design and straightforward repairs without the need to replace entire track modules.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged curves on Carrera-compatible slot car circuits
• Extending existing layouts to create new corner configurations
• Custom track design in home or club racing setups
• Combining multiple 60° sections to form larger arcs or full turns

Key specifications

• Angle per piece: 60 degrees
• Color: black
• Compatibility: designed for Carrera slot car track systems that accept standard curve 1 sections
• Material: durable molded plastic suitable for slot car track use
• Unit: single curved section; multiple pieces can be joined to achieve 180° or other angles

How to use

Align the male and female connectors of the replacement 60° curve with the adjacent track sections and press firmly until the connectors click into place. Ensure the rail contacts are seated for continuous electrical flow. When creating more complex turns, join multiple 60° pieces in sequence and check alignment at each junction to avoid gaps or height differences. If removing a damaged section, gently disconnect surrounding pieces before replacing it to preserve connector integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, perform track assembly on a flat, level surface and verify that rail contacts are clean and free of debris. Use this curve in combination with other Carrera-compatible sections to maintain consistent track geometry; inspect connectors periodically and replace worn parts to sustain reliable performance during racing sessions.
