Ceiling mount B-Tech SYSTEM 2 heavy duty projector mount

The B-Tech SYSTEM 2 Heavy Duty Projector Mount (BT893/B) is designed to secure projectors weighing up to 70 kg. It can be fixed directly to the ceiling or attached to any Ø50 mm B-Tech pole. The mount features independent tilt, yaw and roll adjustment with micro-adjustment at each corner for precise alignment. A projector attaches to a mounting plate that can be extended with supplied extension legs to accommodate larger fixing patterns, making this mount suitable for large-scale installations and precision projection applications.

Advantages

The mount provides robust support for heavy projectors up to 70 kg and offers fine micro-adjustments for accurate image alignment. Its compatibility with Ø50 mm B-Tech poles and direct ceiling fixing increases installation flexibility. Extension legs allow the mounting plate to cover larger fixing patterns, enabling use with a wide range of projector models and complex projection setups.

Suitable for

• Event staging and live productions
• Edge-blending and multi-projector setups
• Projection mapping installations
• Permanent ceiling-mounted installations in venues and auditoria

How to use

Fix the main mount plate to a suitable ceiling surface using appropriate fixings for the ceiling material, or attach the mount to a Ø50 mm B-Tech pole. Secure the projector to the mounting plate and fit the extension legs if the projector’s fixing pattern requires a larger reach. Adjust tilt, yaw and roll to roughly align the image, then use the corner micro-adjustments to achieve precise positioning and keystone correction. Confirm all fixings are tightened after alignment.

Recommendations

Use fixings appropriate for the ceiling material and ensure the installation complies with local safety regulations. For heavy projectors or complex multi-projector arrays, perform a load check and, if required, consult a professional installer to verify structural support and correct alignment for edge-blending or mapping applications.
