Chipolo LOOP Model CH‑RSO006 Bluetooth Tracker in Black – item finder with replaceable battery

Chipolo LOOP (model CH‑RSO006) is a compact Bluetooth tracker in black designed to help you locate keys, bags, wallets and other personal items. It connects to a smartphone app to display the last known location on a map, plays a sound at the device to help locate nearby items and uses a replaceable battery to allow continued operation without replacing the whole unit.

Advantages

The Chipolo LOOP offers simple Bluetooth pairing, audible alerts for fast item retrieval and a slim, durable design that fits on keyrings or attaches to small accessories. The replaceable battery extends device lifetime and enables cost-effective long-term use. Integration with the smartphone app provides visual and audible cues as well as location history to support everyday item tracking.

Suitable for

• Locating keys attached to keyrings
• Tracking bags, backpacks and purses
• Keeping track of wallets and small carry items
• Notifying when an item is left behind via smartphone alerts

When it may not be suitable

The Chipolo LOOP relies on a Bluetooth connection and smartphone app to provide location information, so it is not suitable for tracking items over long distances or through large areas without nearby phones. It does not provide real-time GPS tracking or cellular connectivity; coverage depends on Bluetooth range and the availability of the app on paired devices.

Key specifications

• Wireless connection: Bluetooth for pairing and proximity alerts
• Form factor: compact, ring-shaped tracker designed for attachment to keyrings and small items
• Color: black
• Power: replaceable coin cell battery for extended device life
• Audio alert: built-in speaker to emit sound for locating nearby items
• Smartphone integration: app support for showing last known location on a map and triggering alerts

How to use

Install the Chipolo smartphone app and follow the in-app pairing instructions to connect the LOOP to your phone. Attach the tracker to the item you want to monitor, and use the app to play a sound when the item is nearby or view its last known location on the map. Replace the coin cell battery when the app indicates low battery to maintain continuous operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Bluetooth-based tracking requires the paired smartphone to be within Bluetooth range for immediate locating
• Verify that your smartphone is compatible with the Chipolo app and that permissions for location and Bluetooth are accepted
• Consider the replaceable battery type and expected battery life to plan maintenance

Recommendations

For best results, attach the Chipolo LOOP to items you carry daily and keep the smartphone app updated. Regularly check battery status in the app and replace the battery promptly to avoid interruption of tracking functions. Use the audible alert for nearby searches and the map view for last known locations when items are farther away.
