Cimco 212168 graphite pencil

The Cimco 212168 graphite pencil is a triangular-shaped drawing instrument designed for comfortable grip and precise line control. Measuring 240 mm in length and finished in a distinctive red lacquer, this pencil is intended for graphical drawing tasks where ergonomic handling and steady strokes matter. The triangular profile reduces rolling on flat surfaces and supports consistent pressure distribution, making it suitable for detailed sketching and technical illustrations.

Advantages

The triangular body offers an ergonomic hold that helps reduce hand fatigue during extended use while providing better control for precise lines. Its 240 mm length gives a balanced feel that is convenient for both studio and field work. The red finish allows quick identification among other tools and maintains a clean professional appearance. Designed for drawing rather than heavy-duty carpentry, the pencil delivers consistent graphite laydown for reliable results.

How to use

Hold the pencil in a comfortable grip that makes use of the triangular shape to stabilize your hand. Use lighter pressure for fine, faint lines and increase pressure for darker, more visible strokes. For technical drafting, keep the point sharp with a suitable sharpener and maintain a steady angle to ensure uniform line width. Store horizontally or in a pencil case to avoid accidental breakage of the tip.

Recommendations

For best results in drawing and drafting, pair the Cimco 212168 graphite pencil with smooth, high-quality paper and a compatible sharpener. Replace worn points as needed to preserve line precision, and avoid using the pencil on rough surfaces to prevent premature core wear.
