Coaxial SMA Connector DeLOCK 65849

The DeLOCK 65849 is an SMA coaxial connector designed for 50 Ω applications. It has gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable conductivity and improved resistance to corrosion. Compact in size, the connector measures 15.3 mm in width, 14 mm in depth and 6 mm in height. Supplied as a single unit in a polybag, this connector is intended for integration into RF signal paths and cable interfaces where an SMA connection is required.

Advantages

The SMA DeLOCK 65849 offers gold-plated contacts that provide stable signal transmission and enhanced durability compared to unplated alternatives. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for installations with limited space, and the brass finish provides mechanical robustness. Packaged individually in a polybag, it is convenient for small repairs, prototype assemblies or replacement tasks.

Suitable for

• 50 Ω RF connections and test equipment
• Antennas and wireless modules requiring SMA interfaces
• Repair and replacement of coaxial cable assemblies
• Prototyping and laboratory setups with SMA-compatible devices

Key specifications

• Connector type: SMA
• Impedance: 50 Ω
• Contact plating: gold plated
• Material / finish: brass (product colour: Brass)
• Dimensions (W×D×H): 15.3 mm × 14 mm × 6 mm
• Packaging: single unit in polybag

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable and mating SMA connector according to standard coax assembly practices, ensuring correct centre conductor and shielding connections. Align the SMA connector with the mating socket and engage the threaded coupling carefully to avoid cross-threading. Tighten to a finger- or hand-tight level appropriate for the application; if a specific torque is required by system specifications, use the recommended torque tool to avoid over-tightening and potential damage.

Recommendations

Store the connector in a dry, dust-free environment until installation. Avoid exposing the gold-plated contacts to abrasive cleaning; if cleaning is necessary, use a lint-free cloth or a recommended contact cleaner compatible with plated surfaces. For reliable RF performance, ensure connectors are properly mated and periodically inspect for wear or corrosion in high-use applications.
