Combination Spanner Bahco 111M-8

The Bahco 111M-8 combination wrench is a compact 8 mm hand tool designed for tightening and loosening hex fasteners. Manufactured from chrome alloy steel with a chrome finish, the wrench offers a balance of strength, wear resistance and protection against corrosion. Its compact length and light weight make it practical for confined spaces and for portable tool kits.

Advantages

The chrome alloy steel construction provides high tensile strength and resistance to deformation under torque. The chrome surface finish reduces the risk of rust and simplifies cleaning after use. The 8 mm size and combination design — one open end and one boxed end — deliver versatility for both quick turning and secure torque application. Low mass and shallow depth improve access in tight locations and reduce user fatigue during repetitive tasks.

Suitable for

• Assembling and disassembling small machinery and equipment
• Automotive maintenance on components that use 8 mm fasteners
• General household repairs and DIY projects
• Electrical and electronics enclosure work where compact tools are required

Key specifications

• Size: 8 mm
• Material: chrome alloy steel
• Finish: chrome plated
• Overall length: 130 mm
• Weight: 28 g
• Design: combination wrench with open end and boxed end

How to use

Select the 8 mm combination wrench for hex bolts or nuts with matching dimensions. Place the open end on fasteners for quick adjustment or use the boxed end to engage multiple contact points for higher torque and reduced rounding. Apply steady force in the intended direction of rotation, ensuring the tool is fully seated on the fastener before applying significant torque. After use, wipe the tool clean and store it in a dry place to preserve the chrome finish.

Recommendations

The Bahco 111M-8 is suitable for routine mechanical and household tasks; avoid using it on damaged or rounded fasteners. Do not use the wrench as a hammer or pry bar. For high-torque applications, verify that the selected size and tool condition are appropriate and consider using a torque-limiting device when required.
