Computer Case ASRock Barebone 2U Single Socket SP5 2U4G-GENOA/M3 Black

The ASRock Barebone 2U4G-GENOA/M3 Black is a compact 2U server chassis engineered for single-socket SP5 processors. Designed with a low-profile rack form factor, this case balances space efficiency and component accessibility. The exterior features a matte black finish and a layout that supports high-density memory and storage configurations while providing targeted airflow paths for processor and system cooling.

Advantages

This 2U case provides a space-saving solution for rack-mounted deployments without sacrificing expandability. The layout is optimized for efficient airflow and heat dissipation, helping maintain stable operation under continuous load. Durable construction and standardized rack dimensions simplify installation and maintenance in data center or lab environments. Cable routing and drive mounting points are designed to reduce clutter and improve serviceability.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted servers in small to medium data centers
• Edge computing and network appliances
• Professional workstations requiring single-socket SP5 platforms
• Lab and development testbeds for server hardware

Key specifications

• Form factor: 2U rack-mount chassis
• Processor support: single-socket SP5 platform compatibility
• Color and finish: black matte exterior
• Cooling: optimized airflow paths with provision for dedicated CPU and chassis cooling solutions
• Drive bays and expansion: support for multiple drive mounts and internal expansion cards suitable for 2U constraints

How to use

Install the ASRock Barebone 2U4G-GENOA/M3 into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rails or mounting brackets. Fit the single-socket SP5 processor, memory modules and storage devices following the motherboard documentation and chassis mounting points. Connect power and cooling components, ensuring airflow is not obstructed by cables or drive assemblies. Verify that all connectors are securely seated and perform an initial power-on test to confirm system POST and thermal behavior before full deployment.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, use enterprise-grade cooling fans and quality power supplies sized for sustained server loads. Maintain clear front-to-back airflow and periodically clean dust filters and intake paths. When installing high-density memory or multiple expansion cards, monitor temperatures and adjust fan profiles or rack airflow as needed to keep components within recommended thermal limits.
