Computer Cooling System Accessory BitsPower BP-MBWP-C08 Brass Black – Water Cooling Fitting

BitsPower BP-MBWP-C08 brass black is a metal fitting designed for custom computer water-cooling systems. Manufactured from high-quality brass with a deep black electroplated finish, this fitting is intended to provide durable corrosion resistance and reliable fluid routing in liquid cooling loops. The component features a Hi-Flow profile and a concealed O-ring design to ensure a secure, low-leak connection between tubing, radiators, reservoirs or other loop components.

Advantages

The brass construction offers good mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion for long-term use in liquid cooling systems. The deep black e-plated finish provides additional surface protection and a consistent appearance that integrates with dark-themed builds. The Hi-Flow internal geometry reduces flow restriction, while the hiding O-ring design helps maintain a neat external look and contributes to leak prevention. The part is manufactured to comply with RoHS standards for restricted substances.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops
• Connections between radiators and tubing
• Reservoir and pump inlet/outlet fittings
• Upgrades where a metal fitting is desired for durability

Key specifications

• Material: brass
• Finish: deep black electroplated
• Flow characteristic: Hi-Flow design
• Sealing: concealed O-ring style sealing
• Compliance: RoHS compliant

How to use

Install the fitting into the loop connection by seating the tubing or thread into the mating component and ensuring the O-ring is properly positioned to create a tight seal. Hand-tighten or use the recommended tool for the particular connection type until secure; avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to threads or sealing surfaces. Verify alignment with adjacent components to maintain straight tubing runs and minimise stress on the fitting during operation.

Recommendations

Before commissioning the system, perform a pressure or leak test using distilled water or a suitable test fluid and run the loop for several hours while monitoring for leaks. Use compatible tubing and ensure all brass fittings are compatible with coolant additives and corrosion inhibitors to maintain longevity. Periodically inspect fittings for signs of wear or leaks and replace seals if degradation is observed.
