CradlePoint 170623-003 Power Cable — Replacement Power Cable, Black

CradlePoint 170623-003 is a replacement power cable designed to provide a reliable electrical connection for compatible CradlePoint routers and gateways. The black power lead links the device to its power adapter or mains outlet, serving as a spare or replacement component to restore or maintain power delivery and device uptime in business or field deployments.

Advantages

This replacement power cable offers a straightforward, no-frills solution for restoring power connections. Its straight male-to-female configuration ensures a stable physical fit with matching power adapters and equipment, while the black exterior provides a neutral appearance that blends with most installations. The cable is suitable for use with CradlePoint COR Extended Temperature Power Adapter, the 3A power supply for AER, and the 4A power supply for AER, enabling compatibility with multiple power sources used in enterprise and industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Replacing a damaged or lost power lead for compatible CradlePoint routers and gateways
• Keeping a spare power cable in IT cabinets or field service kits to minimise downtime
• Connecting CradlePoint devices to the COR Extended Temperature Power Adapter or AER 3A/4A power supplies

Key specifications

• Cable type: straight male to straight female power lead
• Colour: black
• Compatibility: designed for CradlePoint routers and gateways that use the corresponding external power connector and the listed CradlePoint power supplies

How to use

Inspect the cable ends and the device power inlet for any debris or damage before connecting. Insert the female end of the power lead into the power adapter output or mains-leading connector, and attach the male end to the power inlet on the CradlePoint device until it seats firmly. Ensure the power adapter is rated correctly and switched off while making connections. After connection, power on the adapter and verify the device powers up and charges normally.

Recommendations

Store spare cables in a dry, dust-free environment and avoid sharp bends or kinks during installation. When used with the COR Extended Temperature Power Adapter or the AER 3A/4A supplies, confirm that the adapter’s output matches the device’s power requirements and follow CradlePoint’s installation guidelines for temperature and environmental conditions.
