Cudy GP1200 desk router

The Cudy GP1200 is a dual-band tabletop router that supports Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) with a maximum wireless data rate of 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Designed for home and small office use, the unit provides both wireless and wired connectivity and includes Gigabit Ethernet LAN interfaces for stable wired connections. The router is delivered in white and comes with a LAN (RJ‑45) cable and front-panel LED indicators showing LAN, Power and WLAN status for straightforward setup and monitoring.

Advantages

The GP1200 combines dual‑band 802.11ac wireless performance with multiple Gigabit LAN ports to support mixed wireless and wired device environments. Built-in LED indicators simplify status checks, while the compact tabletop form factor fits easily on desks or shelves. Additional management and network features such as CWMP, OMCI, 4‑queue QoS and EasyMesh support allow integration into FTTx deployments and centralized management workflows. The white enclosure and included LAN cable reduce the number of accessories required for initial installation.

Suitable for

• Home networks with multiple wireless clients and wired devices
• Small office environments requiring reliable wired Gigabit connections
• FTTx or GPON/EPON access deployments with operator-managed devices
• Environments that benefit from EasyMesh and QoS traffic prioritization

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11ac (Wi‑Fi 5), dual‑band operation
• Maximum wireless data rate: up to 867 Mbit/s (5 GHz)
• Ethernet LAN ports: 4 × Gigabit Ethernet (RJ‑45)
• Device colour: white
• LED indicators: LAN, Power, WLAN
• Management and network features: GPON/EPON dual modes, CWMP, OMCI, 4‑queue QoS, EasyMesh

How to use

Place the router on a stable, elevated tabletop surface to ensure good wireless coverage. Connect the provided LAN (RJ‑45) cable from your modem or ONT to the router’s WAN or appropriate LAN port as required by your network configuration, and power the device. Use the LED indicators to confirm power and network link status. Access the device web interface or management portal to configure wireless SSIDs, security settings, and QoS rules. For operator-managed deployments, enable CWMP/OMCI settings or integrate the device into EasyMesh networks as required.

Recommendations

Position the router centrally relative to wireless clients and keep it away from large metal objects and sources of electromagnetic interference. For mixed traffic environments, configure 4‑queue QoS to prioritize latency‑sensitive services and use wired Gigabit connections for bandwidth‑intensive devices. For FTTx deployments, verify GPON/EPON mode and operator provisioning settings before final installation.
