Current clamp meter electronic Laserliner ClampMeter XP

The Laserliner ClampMeter XP is an electronic clamp meter designed for domestic use and light professional tasks. It measures power current, power frequency and voltage, delivering straightforward numerical readings for quick verification and troubleshooting. With a rated current measurement of 10 A and compact dimensions (76 mm width, 230 mm depth, 40 mm height), the device is easy to handle, store and transport for on-site checks and home maintenance work.

Advantages

The clamp meter combines compact size with basic electrical measurement functions that are relevant for household and small-scale electrical work. Its clamp-style sensor enables current measurement without interrupting the circuit. The instrument’s simple design supports fast readings of current, frequency and voltage, reducing setup time during inspections and minor repairs. Durable construction and ergonomic shape improve grip and handling during repeated use.

How to use

Place the clamp meter around a single conductor to measure current; do not clamp around multi-core cables containing both live and neutral together. Select the appropriate measurement function (current, frequency or voltage) using the device controls, then read the value from the display. For voltage and frequency measurements, connect test leads if provided and observe standard safety practices for working near live circuits. Switch the instrument off after use and store it in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use the clamp meter for routine checks and non-invasive measurements on household circuits. Avoid exceeding the rated current level and do not use the instrument on high-energy industrial installations. Follow local electrical safety regulations and, when in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
