Dedra DED7058 Heat Gun 2000W with Adjustable Temperature

The Dedra DED7058 2000W heat gun is an electric heating tool with adjustable temperature control designed for a variety of repair and finishing tasks. It delivers a powerful 2000 watts to heat surfaces quickly and includes a temperature adjustment mechanism to set the appropriate heat level for specific materials and applications. The tool is intended for do-it-yourself work, maintenance, and light professional use, covering jobs such as paint and varnish removal, shrink tubing, plastic bending, and thawing frozen pipes.

Advantages

The adjustable temperature control allows precise setting to match different materials and reduce the risk of overheating or surface damage. With 2000 W of power the heat gun reaches operating temperature rapidly, shortening task time. Its design balances power and control for both delicate and demanding applications, and its electric operation provides consistent heat output without the need for fuel. The tool’s versatility makes it suitable for a range of household and workshop tasks.

Suitable for

• Stripping paint and varnish from metal, wood and other surfaces
• Shrink-wrapping and heat-shrinking tubing for cable insulation
• Bending and forming plastic components and PVC materials
• Softening adhesives and removing flooring materials
• Thawing frozen pipes and speeding up repairs in cold conditions

Key specifications

• Power: 2000 W
• Temperature: adjustable control to match application requirements
• Power source: mains electric
• Intended use: DIY, maintenance and light professional tasks
• Common applications: paint stripping, shrink tubing, plastic bending, thawing pipes

How to use

Connect the heat gun to a suitable mains supply and set the temperature control according to the material and task. Hold the gun at a safe distance and move it steadily across the work surface to apply even heat; for paint removal or thawing, start with a lower temperature and increase gradually if required. Use appropriate nozzles if available for focused or diffused airflow. Allow heated materials to cool or soften before scraping or reshaping, and switch off and unplug the tool after use, letting it cool down on a heat-resistant surface.

Recommendations

Wear heat-resistant gloves and eye protection when operating the heat gun. Work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes released during paint or adhesive removal. Keep the nozzle away from flammable materials and always allow the tool to cool on a non-flammable surface before storage.
