DeLOCK 60352 Cable Gland Grey Metal Plastic

The DeLOCK 60352 cable gland provides a watertight seal for cable and conduit entries into enclosures. Made of metal and plastic in grey finish, this single-piece cable gland is intended to protect against dust and moisture while securing cables where they pass through chassis or housings.

Advantages

The screw-on design includes an integrated strain relief that fixes the cable and prevents excessive bending, reducing the risk of wear at the entry point. The IP68-rated construction increases protection against ingress of dirt and water. The robust combination of metal and plastic supports long-term use in industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Cable and conduit lead-throughs in electrical enclosures
• Industrial machinery and automation equipment
• Robotics installations and vibration-prone environments

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the enclosure to match the gland diameter. Insert the cable gland into the opening and tighten the screw-on cap to compress the internal seal around the cable. Ensure the strain relief is positioned to prevent sharp bends close to the entry and verify the sealing by checking that the gland is tightened evenly. Follow any device-specific installation requirements and safety procedures when working on live equipment.

Recommendations

Use the cable gland in accordance with IP68 conditions: ensure correct tightening and appropriate cable diameter for the seal. Inspect periodically for mechanical damage and replace the gland if seals or body show signs of wear.
